Gold producer Navarre Minerals has secured a $5 million cornerstone investment from New York-based Lind Partners.

The investment is a staged placement over a maximum two-year period at a floor price of 6.8c per share for the first three months and then at a price calculated with reference to the volume-weighted average price.

The funds will be used for exploration at the Mt Carlton mine in Queensland.

Gold explorer Aurumin is raising up to $4.7 million via a placement and entitlement offer priced at 4c and including one-for-one free-attaching 7c options.

The company has received commitments for a $760,000 placement and is undertaking a non-renounaceble rights issue to raise up to $3.9 million.

GBA Capital is underwriting the entitlement offer up to $1.24 million.

The proceeds of the raisings will be used to explore and expand the Sandstone project.

NT Minerals has announced a capital raising to fund exploration at its Redbank copper project.

The company is placing $500,000 worth of shares to Adroit Group, while Reforme Resources will provide a $2.5 million convertible note.

NT expects to offer shareholders the chance to participate in a raising of up $1.1 million.

Variscan Mines has announced a $1.85 million capital raising, which includes a $1.3 million cornerstone investment from Zinc GroupCo.

Investor ZincCo is backing the company's plans to complete a concept study over the San Jose zinc mine in Spain.

The placement was prices at 1.8c per share and included an option for every two new shares issued.

Western Gold Resources has received firm commitments for a placement of up to 12.2 million shares at 4.5c each to raise $549,281.

GTT Ventures managed the placement with funds to be used for gold production studies, project generation and working capital.

Finally, Auteco Minerals has raised $300,000 from the exercise of options.
